About this role
Engineer, Platform Services is responsible for deploying, managing, monitoring, and maintaining infrastructure and related services while following Integris best practices. The role also requires documentation, standardized deployment execution, and coordination with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as an escalation point for technical issues
- Document technical aspects of new and existing offerings
- Use approved policy and process guidance to provide standardized deployments
- Perform or direct maintenance as required
- Recommend changes to infrastructure policy and guidance
Technical Overview
The role focuses on platform services support across infrastructure and cloud environments (private and public). It includes technical escalation, maintenance execution, infrastructure policy recommendations, and scripting with PowerShell/Bash to automate or support operations.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level IT engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience supporting infrastructure through deployment, monitoring, and maintenance. They hold a current CCNA (or equivalent enterprise network certification) and have experience with both private and public cloud environments, along with scripting in PowerShell and/or Bash.
