This role owns electrical product definition for PCB projects from concept through qualification and production release. You will create schematics and layouts and produce electrical design package drawings using Siemens Xpedition, PADS, and NX, coordinating closely with manufacturing and suppliers.

  • Own product definition from launch through production
  • Create schematics and layouts for Single-Sided, Double-Sided, Multilayer, Flex and Rigid Flex boards
  • Generate/review parts for library use and lead drawing reviews
  • Ensure configuration management on documents
  • Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and support design compliance to customer requirements

You will design and document single-sided, double-sided, multilayer, flex, and rigid flex aerospace PCB configurations. The technical work emphasizes IPC standards compliance, ASME Y14.100 drawing practices, tolerance stack-up analysis, configuration management, and manufacturability improvements using manufacturing/supplier feedback.

The ideal candidate is a mid-level Electrical Product Definition Engineer/PCB Designer with 4+ years of PCB design and engineering experience (or a Bachelor’s in Engineering). They are proficient in Siemens Xpedition and PADS, understand IPC standards and ASME Y14.100 drawing practices, and have experience producing multi-layer PCB layouts including surface mount and high voltage/high current designs.
