About this role

Engineer V-Silver Legacy is a hotel facilities maintenance role responsible for performing preventative maintenance and urgent repairs across HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, mechanical equipment, and other building systems. The position also requires maintaining maintenance/testing records, keeping daily logs, and supporting guest service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Implement routine maintenance and urgent repair works per engineering practices and occupational health and safety regulations
Closely monitor and ensure maintenance/testing records are kept
Perform preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment and conduct basic plumbing/electrical repairs (including circuit breaker reset)
Respond to Maximo WO's and keep daily logs
Support events and maintain guest service excellence aligned with core values and DEI culture

Technical Overview

The role focuses on routine maintenance and troubleshooting of hotel engineering systems including HVAC and Refrigeration (EPA licensed), basic plumbing repairs, electrical tasks such as circuit breaker reset, and preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment. Work involves responding to Maximo WO's, documenting maintenance/testing outcomes, and operating typical facilities equipment including scissor lifts, forklift, and pallet jack.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a facilities engineering or general building repair technician with 3+ years of hospitality maintenance experience, strong plumbing/electrical/mechanical skills, and a working knowledge of HVAC and Refrigeration. They are EPA licensed, comfortable using hand and power tools and handling equipment like scissor lifts/forklifts/pallet jacks, and they maintain accurate maintenance records and daily logs while delivering guest service excellence.
