About this role

Engineering Design Tech responsible for developing designs, layouts, construction drawings, and BOM for relatively complex utility infrastructure projects, including installation, relocation, and removal activities.

Key Responsibilities

Develops designs, layouts, construction drawings, and BOM for complex utility systems
Interprets and applies engineering standards and memos
Assists with technical plan developments for customer and company systems
Evaluates design processes and participates on teams
Develops construction drawings and material requirements; works independently under lead engineer

Technical Overview

Cad-based design work with electrical/mechanical analysis, adherence to engineering standards, and regulatory compliance; field engineering involvement for New Business projects.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an entry-level to junior engineering designer with CAD proficiency, capable of producing construction drawings and BOMs for utility relocation projects, and familiar with applicable regulations. A Civil engineering background is preferred, along with a TECH test completion.
