About this role
AECOM is seeking an Engineering Intern for its Baton Rouge, LA office with an expected start in May/June 2026. The internship supports transportation engineering groups with drawing/report preparation and engineering calculations, including quantity and cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the roadway, structures and traffic engineering group on highway design and transportation projects
- Assist design staff on preparation of drawings and engineering reports
- Perform engineering calculations, quantity calculations and cost estimates
- Work under the direction of engineers to support assigned engineering tasks
- Gain hands-on learning experience within the field of study
Technical Overview
The intern will support the roadway, structures and traffic engineering group on highway design and transportation projects.
