About this role
Engineering Intern at Jabil Monument site supporting engineering activities in a regulated medical-device manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include floor support, data collection, documentation, SOPs, and participation in ECOs and device history records.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Manufacturing and Process Engineers on floor
- Support time studies and process observations
- Update SOPs and engineering docs
- Participate in ECOs and DHR
- Support equipment qualification and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)
Technical Overview
Hands-on exposure to Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, CAD design (SolidWorks/Creo), and regulatory compliance (FDA ISO 13485, GMP) with involvement in IQ/OQ/PQ validation and DHR.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a junior or senior engineering student (or recent grad) in mechanical/ manufacturing/ biomedical/ industrial engineering, seeking hands-on experience in a regulated medical-device manufacturing environment.
