About this role

Oxy Algeria is offering 8-week summer internships for students in chemical, mechanical, or petroleum engineering to work on well hook up engineering processes and related documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Site visits and data collection
Perform hydraulics calculations and API/ASME standards reference
Review control narratives and cause-effect diagrams
Prepare commissioning dossiers
Maintain as-built key documents

Technical Overview

Internship focuses on hydraulics calculations, API/ASME standards, PFD/P&ID, plotting plans and commissioning dossiers, with exposure to site documentation and cross-team collaboration.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a motivated engineering student pursuing a degree in chemical, mechanical, or petroleum engineering who is fluent in English and French and has strong Excel/PowerPoint skills. They should demonstrate basic knowledge of API/ASME standards and be ready to contribute to well hook up processes and commissioning documentation.
