About this role

Piedmont Global is looking for a hands-on Engineering Lead to own end-to-end delivery of core product platforms for autonomous squads. The role is technical ownership with daily coding, rapid prototyping, and close collaboration with Product Management to ship production software quickly and cleanly.

Key Responsibilities

Own technical direction, delivery, and operational health for the squad product area
Write production code daily and contribute to core libraries and infrastructure
Prototype rapidly and lead capabilities from prototype to production
Lead with AI-native development practices using Claude Code and GitHub Copilot
Partner with Product Management on sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery commitments

Technical Overview

You will lead technical direction for your squad’s domain, contributing directly to critical-path features, core libraries, and infrastructure. The role emphasizes AI-native development practices using tools like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot, and building capabilities such as AI-powered translation pipelines and Twilio integrations.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Engineering Lead who can own end-to-end delivery of core product platforms and write code daily. They are comfortable making architectural decisions, shipping production software quickly from prototype to production, and partnering with Product Management on sprint planning and delivery commitments, using AI-native development tools like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
