About this role

Piedmont Global is seeking a hands-on Engineering Lead to own the technical direction and end-to-end delivery of core product platforms. The lead will write production code daily, make architecture decisions, and work closely with Product Management to plan sprints and deliver commitments.

Key Responsibilities

Own technical direction, delivery, and operational health of the squad product area
Write production code daily and contribute to critical features and libraries
Prototype rapidly for new capabilities (including AI-powered pipelines and Twilio integrations)
Use AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, local LLMs) and drive adoption patterns
Partner with Product Management on sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery commitments

This role emphasizes building and hardening prototype capabilities into production software, including AI-powered workflows and integrations like Twilio.
