About this role
Engineering Manager leads the engineering function for the can-making plant, focusing on asset care, preventive/predictive maintenance, and plant capital projects. Manages utilities, toolroom, and a cross-functional team to achieve KPIs and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Device strategy for site maintenance and capital projects
- Lead PM pillar and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Manage engineering stores and spare parts inventory
- Coordinate with supply chain for AMCs and external service contracts
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001
Technical Overview
Extensive experience in manufacturing engineering with emphasis on maintenance programs, capital projects, and process optimization; strong CAD skills and familiarity with gas-fired equipment and can-making processes.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior engineering leader with 15+ years in CAN manufacturing or high-volume processes, strong AutoCAD proficiency, and a track record of delivering capital projects and maintenance programs. They should excel in safety, quality management, and cross-functional leadership.
