About this role

Braze is hiring an Engineering Manager for Platform Engineering to lead a team building an automated platform that abstracts infrastructure complexity and enables seamless deployment and operations. The manager will define platform services as products, drive adoption and satisfaction among engineering teams, and work closely with SRE to embed reliability practices.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a high-performing platform engineering team of Platform Software Engineers and Platform Infrastructure Engineers
Define platform services as products with business value, user personas, and success metrics
Gather requirements and feedback from internal engineering teams
Prioritize work based on business value and drive adoption and satisfaction
Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to embed reliability practices and operational excellence
