About this role
Data Center Engineering Technician maintains mission-critical data center facilities, performing electrical/mechanical preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-site support to ensure high uptime.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily building rounds and monitoring
- BMS/EPMS monitoring
- troubleshoot facility and rack-level events
- rack installs/ decommissions
- PM and root cause analysis
- technical writing
- on-site support for contractors/vendors
- travel to multiple sites
- perform site changes as needed
Technical Overview
Hands-on work with diesel generators, three-phase electrical systems, UPS, PDUs, CRAC, chillers, and cooling towers, plus BMS/EPMS monitoring and change-management documentation.
Ideal Candidate
An on-site data center technician with hands-on electrical and mechanical expertise, capable of preventive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting across multiple data center facilities, and willing to travel as needed.
