About this role
Lead interior engineering technical programs across Interior IP, Console, Mechanisms, and Decorative Trim. You will manage a team of Design and Release Engineers and Technical Specialists, drive design reviews and robust quality methods, and ensure disciplined delivery of GVDP milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage interior engineering teams across multiple programs to deliver GVDP milestones
- Serve as technical expert for Interior IP/Console/Deco/Mechanisms components
- Drive technical design reviews aligned to BOM row strategies and performance requirements
- Champion DFMEA quality and DFSS methodology including readacross improvements
- Lead analytical robustness validation and escalated technical issue resolution with cross-functional partners
Technical Overview
The role focuses on interior commodity technical leadership, including technical design reviews, BOM row alignment, DFMEA/DFSS quality practices, robustness validation, and escalated issue resolution across System Safety, GPSC, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality.
