About this role
Lead architectural efforts for a federal civilian program, owning end-to-end Azure Government platform architecture. Govern security, compliance, and AI-enabled design across multiple delivery teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the single point of technical authority for the solution’s Azure Government platform across all system layers
- Define architecture standards, design patterns, and technical guardrails for security, scalability, and performance
- Exercise cross-team design authority, reviewing, approving, and directing architectural decisions
- Lead architecture planning and define the technical roadmap in alignment with program objectives
- Own and direct architecture components supporting ATO/IATO activities, ensuring compliance and audit readiness
Technical Overview
Hands-on cloud-based architecture in Azure Government with AI integration, ATO/IATO oversight, and cross-team governance. Requires experience with AI services, data pipelines, and secure DevSecOps practices.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior enterprise/solutions architect with 10+ years of federal civilian experience, deep Azure Government expertise, and strong authority over ATO/IATO processes. They bring hands-on governance for AI-enabled architectures and hold the Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
