About this role
Entry-Level F-22 Simulation Software Engineer position supporting the Boeing F-22 Simulation Infrastructure team in Berkeley, Missouri. The role helps design, build, and maintain simulation models and supporting infrastructure used for development and test of advanced F-22 capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with design and development of simulation models and frameworks
- Contribute to simulation requirements review and dynamics identification
- Assist with modeling, simulation, testing, and analysis for performance optimization
- Support validation, verification, and refinement of simulation software and test environments
- Document technical code, algorithms, specifications, and simulation results
Technical Overview
You will assist with modeling and simulation development, including simulation visualizations and virtual environments/platforms. Work includes validation/verification, test procedure execution, documentation, and integrating simulation software with hardware devices and systems, alongside modernization of legacy simulation software to new operating systems.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level software engineer with 1+ years of experience using Ada, C++, and Py to build and validate simulation models and virtual environments. They are comfortable working on an agile team, partnering with stakeholders to understand simulation requirements, and documenting verification and validation results against real-world data. They must be able to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance and access Special Access Programs (SAP).
