About this role
AECOM is looking for an Environmental Remediation Project Manager to lead environmental remediation, assessment, and oil & gas projects from initiation to completion. The role requires strong regulatory compliance knowledge, client/regulator relationship management, and the ability to manage delivery on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage environmental remediation assessment and oil & gas projects
- Deliver projects on time within budget and compliant with regulatory requirements
- Apply technical knowledge to groundwater contamination soil treatment and waste management
- Develop client and regulator relationships and maintain timely project communications
- Manage and lead a local team with mentorship training and development

The position applies technical knowledge to remediation and environmental compliance work, including groundwater contamination, soil treatment, and waste management at oil and gas, refinery, and industrial sites. It also includes coordinating proposals, contract negotiations, and leading a local team.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level Environmental Remediation Project Manager with 6+ years of experience across site investigation, remediation, and project management, including business development. They understand environmental compliance for oil and gas facilities and can deliver projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with state and federal regulations.
