About this role
This role provides 24/7 maintenance support for facility and process equipment, performing preventive and demand maintenance while also executing predictive maintenance and troubleshooting. The technician also supports investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions, and may assist with design, installation, and qualification of equipment changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and demand maintenance on facility and process equipment
- Execute predictive maintenance (vibration analysis, oil/lubricant analysis, ultrasonic thickness, infrared heat mapping)
- Maintain compliance with GMP, process safety management (PSM), and applicable regulations
- Support manufacturing investigations with troubleshooting and failure/root cause analysis
- Provide technical support for installation and qualification of new or modified equipment
Technical Overview
You will maintain a wide variety of manufacturing equipment (including HVAC, plumbing, reactors, control valves, pumps) and perform reliability-centered maintenance with predictive techniques such as vibration analysis, oil/lubricant analysis, ultrasonic thickness testing, and infrared heat mapping. Work requires strict adherence to GMP, process safety management (PSM), and EHS procedures.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an Equipment Technician III with 4+ years of manufacturing facility maintenance experience and strong hands-on skills across mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. They are experienced with preventive and predictive maintenance activities (such as vibration analysis, oil/lubricant analysis, ultrasonic thickness testing, and infrared heat mapping) and consistently maintain compliance with GMP and process safety management (PSM).
