About this role

Estimator for Airfield Systems/NAVAIDS will develop detailed cost estimates for electrical and construction projects focused on airfield systems, review subcontractor quotes, and use industry-standard estimating software to prepare competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities

Estimate Preparation: Develop detailed cost estimates for Airfield Systems/NAVAIDS projects
Collaboration: Work with project managers, engineers, and team members
Software Utilization: Use Procore, Autodesk, Acubid, McCormick, EBI, Esticom
Team Leadership: Potentially oversee RFPs and bid analysis
Airfield Systems (Optional): Provide specialized expertise in airfield systems
Continuous Process Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends

Technical Overview

Requires experience with FAA-funded projects and airfield systems (PAPI, VOR, DME); proficient with Procore, Autodesk, Acubid, McCormick, EBI, Esticom; strong technical knowledge in electrical construction and estimating.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an experienced electrical estimator with 3-5 years in airfield systems estimating, strong knowledge of FAA NAVAIDS (PAPI, VOR, DME), and proficiency with estimating software (Procore, Autodesk, Acubid, Esticom).
