About this role
Senior Engineering Leader for a high-volume, multi-product payments division within a SaaS context. You will report to the CTO, own payments infrastructure, ensure security/compliance, and scale engineering across distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional engineering orgs of 25–50+; own payments platform architecture and scale; drive PCI DSS audits and SOC 2; manage distributed/nearshore teams; translate technical strategy into business outcomes
Technical Overview
Hands-on payments infrastructure with gateway architecture, ACH, settlement and reconciliation; strong cloud engineering baseline; security-first mindset; PCI DSS/SOC 2 governance; cross-functional leadership.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an executive-level engineering leader with 10–15 years in software engineering and 4–6 years in director-level leadership, with hands-on experience owning a high-volume payment gateway. They should be adept at cross-functional leadership, security/compliance, and managing multi-product SaaS payments platforms at scale.
