About this role
This is a senior Dynatrace observability engineering role focused on architecting and optimizing enterprise observability across hybrid on-prem, cloud, and Kubernetes-based systems. You will build monitoring strategies, integrate Dynatrace with DevOps/ITSM tooling, and drive proactive performance monitoring and root cause analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and administer Dynatrace across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments
- Design observability strategies using APM, RUM, synthetic monitoring, logs, metrics, and events
- Configure dashboards, alerts, anomaly detection, and SLOs
- Integrate Dynatrace with ITSM and CI/CD tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps)
- Support incident response, performance troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis
Technical Overview
You will implement and administer Dynatrace (including Dynatrace OneAgent) and configure full-stack observability using APM, infrastructure monitoring, RUM, synthetic monitoring, logs, metrics, and events. The role includes setting up dashboards/alerts/SLOs, using Davis AI for RCA, and integrating with ServiceNow, Jira, and Azure DevOps along with CI/CD pipelines.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior observability engineer with 5+ years in performance engineering and 3+ years hands-on Dynatrace implementation/admin. They can architect end-to-end observability (APM, RUM, logs, metrics) across Kubernetes and cloud environments and integrate Dynatrace with CI/CD and ITSM tools for proactive monitoring and root cause analysis.
