About this role
Distro (Northern University – Academies Division) is seeking an Executive Director / Chief Revenue Officer to lead Harmony Academy’s sales transformation. The role drives revenue generation and go-to-market strategy, leads a team of ~20, and remains hands-on to close deals when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sales and revenue generation to shift from philanthropic to revenue operations
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and sales processes
- Lead and develop approximately 20 team members (player-coach)
- Support business development for SEL Academy and Fundraising Academy ed-tech revenue streams
- Coach teams and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve organizational goals
Technical Overview
This is a non-technical revenue leadership role within an education technology (EdTech) context. The work centers on defining go-to-market strategies, building sales processes, coaching teams in sales methodologies, and executing revenue-focused operations for K-12 educational programs.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an executive-level sales leader with EdTech experience and deep K-12 market knowledge. They have strong go-to-market strategy and sales process expertise, can lead and coach ~20 team members, and can still close deals personally while driving a transition from philanthropic to revenue-generating operations.
