About this role
This role manages and grows Motorola Solutions’ Federal Law Enforcement customer relationships at senior DOJ leadership levels. You will identify and pursue new DOJ business opportunities while leading strategy and execution across Motorola teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships at senior DOJ leadership levels (SES)
- Understand DOJ customer policy, budgeting, and requirements formulation
- Identify, quantify, and pursue new DOJ business opportunities
- Orchestrate and lead Motorola teams to develop strategy and top opportunities
- Articulate Motorola Solutions strategies and value proposition to senior customer leadership
Technical Overview
The technical scope includes selling complex software and communications solutions used in public safety contexts, including LMR / RF communications and 1st responder software application platforms such as CAD, RMS, and E911, plus cybersecurity solution knowledge. It also requires understanding DOJ customer requirements and budget cycles to craft and articulate value propositions to senior leadership.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior sales/business development professional with 10+ years of experience selling into or working for the U.S. Department of Justice and/or Federal Law Enforcement Agencies. They understand US DOJ budget cycles deeply, can develop executive relationships (SES), and have technical selling experience with LMR / RF communications and 1st responder platforms such as CAD, RMS, and E911, including cybersecurity solution knowledge.
