About this role
This is a remote (virtual) field-based feed sales role focused on Dairy Cattle feed sales with partners in the Owen, WI territory. The representative sells Purina products and programs by evaluating feeding programs, making cold calls, visiting farms, and hosting educational meetings/events.
Key Responsibilities
- Call on Dairy Cattle owners to evaluate feeding programs and recommend nutritional programs
- Sell/consult at the farm gate (up to 25 farm calls per week)
- Develop new prospects and make sales cold calls
- Organize and conduct educational meetings/events (4H, saddle clubs, vets, trainers, etc.)
- Use Salesforce and MS Office; be trained on HerdSmart ration balancing software
