The role manages multi-line property and casualty claims in an assigned territory and supports claim resolution, including potential formal dispute proceedings.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and assemble facts and determine policy coverage
- Evaluate the amount of loss and analyze legal liability
- Handle multi-line property and casualty claims with emphasis on property claims
- Work toward claim resolution and attend arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials as necessary
- Ensure claims payments are issued in a timely and accurate manner
Technical Overview
This role is claim-adjustment focused and involves coverage review of insurance policies, endorsements, and forms, plus investigations via phone, mail, and on-site. Xactimate software knowledge is preferred.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years handling multi-line property and casualty claims with a strong emphasis on property claims. They can investigate and assemble facts, determine policy coverage, evaluate the amount of loss, analyze legal liability, and communicate clearly while managing complex claim issues in an assigned territory.
