Field Engineer - Electrical Construction

This Field Engineer role (Engineer II) supports electrical construction through field and office engineering responsibilities. The position emphasizes interpreting drawings, performing quantities and takeoffs, supporting surveying and as-built data, coordinating work packages and material deliveries, and participating in jobsite safety processes including JHA's and toolbox meetings.

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision
• Perform quantity calculations and material takeoffs to support progress measurement and field execution
• Assist in field surveying and work layout support including elevation, control points, and as-built data
• Prepare Job Hazard Analysis (JHA's) and participate in jobsite safety reviews, toolbox meetings, and safety training
• Order and schedule material deliveries and assist in preparing work plans, work packages, and submittal/transmittal data

Technically, the role spans field engineering (surveying support, work layout including elevation and control points, as-built data compilation, and labor time documentation) and office engineering (material takeoffs, basic engineering calculations, and technical drafting). It also supports customer/vendor/subcontractor documentation workflows such as submittals and transmittals.
