About this role

Field Engineer II is the primary on-site engineer for heavy civil projects in the Eastern District, reporting to the Project Manager and coordinating field and office engineering tasks while emphasizing health, safety, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret drawings and specs for field crews
  • Perform quantity calculations and takeoffs
  • Assist in field surveying and layout support
  • Prepare Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and safety reviews
  • Generate change orders and as-built data for PM review

Civil/structural field engineering with responsibilities in interpretation of drawings, surveying, quantity takeoffs, JHAs, daily reporting, and change orders; requires travel and a civil engineering or related degree.
