About this role
Field Service Engineer provides visible customer support by performing on-site installation and overseeing diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment. The engineer trains customers on operation and maintenance, supports analytical workflows, manages field assets, completes administrative tasks, and maintains health/safety/security/environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installations, maintenance, validations, and repairs per PerkinElmer service standards and KPIs
- Understand analytical workflows and tailor service offerings including training, support, and upgrades
- Maintain assigned assets including tools, test equipment (MTE), telecommunication equipment, and service parts inventory
- Proactively report improvement opportunities via the quality notification process
- Complete administrative tasks (time reporting, assigned training) and maintain health/safety/security/environmental compliance
