About this role
As a Field Technician II, you will install, service, and upgrade equipment at customer locations. You will diagnose and troubleshoot issues, test and maintain technology equipment, and train customers on proper operation and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service or upgrade equipment onsite at customer locations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure effective functioning
- Provide training and guidance to customers on operation and maintenance
- Configure hardware and embedded software components after installation
- Perform routine maintenance and testing, and keep clients apprised of progress
Technical Overview
Work involves hardware and embedded software configuration after installation, plus routine maintenance and testing to troubleshoot equipment problems. You must be able to interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and schematics and use that information to resolve hardware/electronic issues.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an onsite field technician with 1+ years of experience in electrical/mechanical installation, troubleshooting, and repair. They can read technical diagrams, manuals, and schematics, configure hardware and embedded software components after installation, and perform routine maintenance at customer locations.
