About this role
Finance and Accounting Analyst 2 processes payroll expenditures, posts to GL and Oracle Grants Administration, tests and maintains LD functionality, reconciles payroll liabilities, and provides audit support and financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll expenditures for posting to GL and Oracle Grants Administration; Reconcile general ledger accounts and payroll suspense; Collaborate with ITG Oracle team on LD functionality; Independent payroll financial analysis and reporting; Run complex ad hoc queries and develop LD reports
Technical Overview
Technical scope includes Oracle Financials/Grants Administration, Labor Distribution module, LD reporting, data queries, and advanced Excel; requires understanding of GASB/FASB standards.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level payroll accounting analyst with 2+ years of experience, strong Oracle LD expertise, and a CPA (preferred). They should be proficient in LD testing, reporting, and GL reconciliations, with solid spreadsheet and data analysis skills.
