About this role
Support management of research studies focused on substance use and infectious disease across community, clinical, and carceral settings; oversee daily administrative tasks, recruitment, data collection, and coordination with study staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage administrative aspects of the research study
- Recruit subjects and obtain informed consent
- Enroll participants and perform randomization procedures
- Review data collection forms and guide junior staff
- Prepare narratives, budgets and tables; assist with NIH reporting
Technical Overview
Technical scope includes data collection/entry, data management, basic data analysis with SPSS/SAS, MS Office tools, and IRB processes; experience with literature searches and manuscript preparation.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level research assistant with 2-5 years of experience in clinical research, strong IRB/regulatory experience, and proficiency in SPSS/SAS and MS Office. They can manage data collection, recruitment, and coordination across multi-site settings and communicate effectively with investigators.
