About this role
Ameriprise India is seeking a Finance Data Analyst to manage project budgets, forecast, track variances, and deliver dashboards using SQL, Power BI, Jira, and Confluence. The role supports governance across multiple projects with hybrid work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain project budgets, including forecasting and variance analysis
- Develop, maintain, and update budget trackers and dashboards
- Coordinate inputs for budget planning and approvals
- Maintain Jira backlog and Confluence documentation
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data analysis
Technical Overview
Responsibilities include building budget trackers and dashboards, data extraction/validation with SQL, and automation via Power Automate within an Agile framework.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a finance data analyst with 2-4 years of experience in project budgeting and financial tracking, proficient in SQL and Power BI, and comfortable with Jira/Confluence in an Agile environment. They should be adept at collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
