About this role
The Financial Analyst provides economic and financial analysis support for North & Central America as directed. The role focuses on EVA-based analysis, Excel-based financial modeling, customer pricing calculations, and standardized plant cost/KPI reporting for management decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Economic Value Added (EVA) based financial analysis for new and potential projects
- Build financial models on Excel spreadsheets for business problems and opportunities
- Update customer pricing calculations for contract administration changes (LME administration, PPI, ingot conversion cost)
- Design standardized reporting of plant costs and KPI's and produce ad hoc reports
- Present analysis results to management and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Technical Overview
This position is centered on quantitative analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel (including financial models) and MS Word for communication/presentations. It includes standardized reporting design for plant costs and KPI's, plus ad hoc reporting and analysis supported by strong economic, finance, and accounting fundamentals.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an early-career Financial Analyst with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. They are proficient in Excel-based financial modeling and have experience performing EVA (Economic Value Added) analysis, customer pricing calculations, and plant cost/KPI reporting in a manufacturing context.
