Financial Manager, Ads Central FP&A translates complex financial information into executive-ready narratives and drives comprehensive financial planning for Amazon’s Ads business. The role partners with cross-functional teams to forecast, budget, and provide strategic financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop financial narratives for Ads leadership (SVP and direct reports)
- Contribute to quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting
- Automate and scale Ads reporting
- Partner with business finance teams for data accuracy
- Lead Ads goals process and executive materials
Technical Overview
Scope includes FP&A disciplines, data modeling, and financial systems (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos, Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) with MBA/CPA as preferred credentials.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior FP&A professional with 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting, a track record of building scalable financial reports, and strong data tooling expertise (SQL, Essbase, Cognos). They bring a business-focused mindset and excellent communication for executive-facing narratives.
