About this role
The Financial Operations Associate supports Pacific Life’s annuity and life insurance business by reviewing, analyzing, and processing regulated financial and policy-related transactions. Depending on business needs, the associate supports either post-issue inforce processing or producer licensing and contracting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process policy and contract changes or producer licensing/contracting updates
- Identify incomplete, inaccurate, or non-compliant requests and resolve exceptions
- Maintain accurate client and licensing records across internal systems
- Ensure transactions meet quality, productivity, and service standards
- Communicate with producers, regulatory agencies, legal/compliance teams, and field offices to obtain required documentation
Technical Overview
The technical scope centers on transaction processing and audit-ready compliance work for insurance operations. The role involves managing high-volume workflows (policy/contract changes and/or licensing updates), ensuring regulatory and service standard adherence, and resolving exceptions with strong documentation.
