Key Responsibilities

Prepare and support Form 10-K/10-Q/8-K/11-K disclosures
Draft footnotes and MD&A
Coordinate inputs across accounting, finance, and legal
Support quarterly reviews and external audits
Perform XBRL tagging and SEC filing validation

Technical Overview

SEC reporting, GAAP-based external disclosures, Workiva, XBRL tagging, Oracle applications, Excel/PowerPoint, regulatory compliance and audits

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior accounting professional with CPA licensing and SEC reporting experience, capable of coordinating across accounting, finance, and legal teams to support external disclosures and financial reporting for Markel Group.
