About this role
Build and support Morgan Stanley’s first-line credit risk team by delivering timely analytics and reporting to support credit risk decision-making. The role focuses on ad-hoc reporting requests, building automated reporting solutions, and helping oversee stressed credit exposures across lending products.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, organize and transform complex data to deliver timely reports for credit risk
- Analyze and track portfolio metrics such as originations, limit monitoring, KRIs, loan quality, stressed credits
- Assist in oversight and coordination of stressed credit exposures across lending products and forums/committees
- Track team initiatives and drive continuous improvement with documentation, policy/procedure drafting, and process mapping
- Partner with stakeholders across legal entities and risk organizations to drive data-driven risk management initiatives
Technical Overview
Performs portfolio analytics and reporting by gathering, organizing, and transforming complex data across multiple databases. Supports stressed credit exposure oversight and prepares documentation, process maps, and decks for senior management and regulators.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an Assistant Vice President-level credit risk professional with 4+ years in financial services focused on portfolio analytics and risk management. They can transform complex data into timely, actionable reports, manage stressed credit exposure oversight, and understand private banking lending products including Securities-based lending, Tailored Lending, Residential Mortgages, and Commercial Real Estate lending.
