About this role
This Fixed Asset Accounting Manager role provides daily supervision of a department and owns core general accounting activities. The position leads month-end responsibilities including monthly entries, variance analysis, reconciliation, and report preparation, while improving reporting and ensuring GAAP-aligned policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise employees and manage department work planning
- Complete month end responsibilities including preparation and execution of monthly entries
- Perform variance analysis, reconciliation, and report preparation
- Manage accounting and bookkeeping activities including balancing, accruals, and amortization
- Develop and implement process improvements and reporting enhancements in accordance with GAAP
Technical Overview
The scope is fixed asset and general accounting operations: balancing and bookkeeping activities, managing accruals and amortization, performing reconciliations, and producing reports used by internal finance partners. It also includes identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing reporting enhancements for better management analysis, supported by GAAP-compliant accounting policy documentation.

The ideal candidate is an accounting manager experienced in general accounting and fixed asset accounting responsibilities, including month-end entry execution, variance analysis, and reconciliation.
