About this role
Supervise a fleet maintenance shop under a Maintenance Manager, leading technicians responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs. Plan and schedule maintenance work, ensure quality control, and drive compliance with company safety standards and federal/state regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise A/B/C level and lead technicians and run daily shop routines
- Plan and schedule repair work to ensure safe, timely completion
- Monitor operational performance and recommend process improvements
- Perform quality control inspections and inspect outside repairs for compliance
- Oversee diagnostics, road testing, and inventory/parts control with budget approvals
Technical Overview
Oversees diagnostics and repair execution for fleet vehicles and related heavy-duty equipment, with advanced knowledge of engine, emission systems, transmission, brake, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Conducts quality control inspections, inspects outside repairs, manages inventory control, and may road test vehicles for necessary repairs.

The ideal candidate is an experienced fleet maintenance supervisor who can lead a maintenance shop and ensure preventive maintenance and repairs are completed safely and efficiently. They have strong knowledge of engine, emission systems, transmission, brake, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and can perform quality control inspections and complex repair diagnostics.
