About this role
Leads a fleet maintenance shop by supervising technicians and directing preventive maintenance and repairs. The role focuses on planning/scheduling, compliance, quality control inspections, and maintaining adequate inventory levels to support ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direction to A, B and C level and lead technicians
- Monitor operational performance and redirect activities
- Supervise maintenance shop operations including daily shop huddles and fleet walks
- Perform Quality Control Inspections and track issues to resolution
- Oversee repair diagnostics and road test vehicles when necessary
Technical Overview
Manages diagnostics and maintenance for vehicles and heavy equipment across engine, emission systems, transmission, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Conducts quality control inspections, oversees outside repairs inspections, and may road test vehicles, ensuring all work complies with federal and state regulations.

The ideal candidate is an experienced fleet maintenance supervisor with a proven track record leading technicians and maintaining fleet assets through preventive maintenance and repairs. They are strong in diagnostics and quality control, and they ensure all work meets company safety/compliance standards and federal and state regulations.
