About this role
Lead cutover operations for Marriott’s Global Property Management Systems as part of the PMS cloud deployment strategy. Own coordination, planning, and documentation of business processes and operational procedures, support requirements and design approvals, and ensure UAT, beta, and pilot readiness for hotel systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Support development of PMS strategies and solutions for different hotel community types
- Analyze and document current and future state business processes and operational needs
- Coordinate planning, implementation, and deployment requirements for PMS cutover activities
- Develop and document business processes, operational procedures, policies, and best practices for hotel systems
- Participate in requirements, design approvals, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Beta, and Pilots to ensure deployment success
Technical Overview
Manage deployment and integration activities for Property Management System (PMS) cloud strategy, including cutover operations and system interoperability with enterprise systems. Support end-to-end readiness through requirements, design approvals, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and pilot deployments across global communities.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior property management systems leader with 4-year degree or 5+ years of hotel experience working with Property Management Systems. They understand PMS strategy and cloud deployments, have led cutover operations, documented business processes, and supported UAT, beta, and pilot deployments while collaborating with global stakeholders.
Must-Have Skills
4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a related field appropriate to work of position; or 5+ years of hotel experience or other relevant experience using property management systems or related work experienceExperience with Property Management Systems and/or operational experienceExperience with operations and technology initiativesAbility to support delivery and ongoing support
