CarMax Flow Inventory Associate handles zone maintenance, vehicle receiving/shipping, inventory scanning, and customer service to keep lots organized and cars accurately represented.

Key Responsibilities

Execute processes as defined by work instructions and standardized work
Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities with team
Provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers
Ensure daily lot maintenance and security of the display areas and work-in-progress zones
Complete scanning of vehicles to ensure accurate product status

Technical Overview

Operational role focused on physical inventory management, photo documentation, and compliance with CarMax 5S standards; no IT/software stack involved.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an entry-level flow inventory associate with a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, strong attention to detail, and a focus on customer service and accurate inventory handling.
