About this role
Serve as a hotel representative at the front desk by welcoming guests, handling reservations, and supporting smooth check-in/check-out. Resolve guest issues promptly and accurately process payments and folio transactions in a fast-paced casino-hotel setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Greets and welcomes customers and provides courteous guest contact
- Ensure accurate check-in and check-out and issue correct room keys
- Obtain correct payment types (cash, credit card authorization, valid comps, gift certificates) and post charges
- Settle folios for individuals and groups and balance paperwork at shift end
- Resolve customer issues promptly and courteously using FOCUS model and Service Recovery tools
Technical Overview
Uses office and front desk equipment (computer, telephone, ten key, printer, fax machine) and basic software skills with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Excel. Performs transaction-related tasks such as posting charges, settling folios, and maintaining an operating bank with shift-end balancing paperwork.

They can accurately manage check-in/check-out, process payments (cash, credit cards, comps, and gift certificates), and resolve guest issues calmly in a fast-paced casino-hotel environment.
