Quality Assurance Technician at the Bellevue Milk Plant supports daily QA workflows, performs testing and data entry, and maintains GMP/SOP compliance to ensure product safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Sampling, testing, plating, reading, and recording product test results
Data Entry, tracking and interpretation
Follow SOPs and GMPs
Maintain 6-S rating of an A
Monitor CCP records and respond to production issues
Follow-up on customer complaints

Technical Overview

Involves microbiological, physical, chemical, and organoleptic testing; monitors CCP records; requires SOP/GMP/HACCP knowledge and ability to lift 50 lbs; operates within a GMP-compliant food manufacturing environment.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a QA technician with a four-year degree in food science, chemistry, or microbiology (or equivalent experience) and strong knowledge of HACCP/GMP and food safety. They should excel at meticulous data entry, lab/testing oversight, and maintain high standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
