About this role

Functional Business Consultant provides SME guidance on business systems, conducts testing and documentation, and drives regulatory and process improvements across client projects in a remote healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as SME for assigned business systems; develop requirements, specifications, and process flows; support change management or project delivery
Partner with stakeholders to maintain/enhance applications; resolve issues
Research, evaluate, and improve processes and system functionality
Conduct system testing; create test plans and cases; perform UAT and document results
Ensure regulatory compliance; support audits; SOPs and governance documentation

Technical Overview

Focus on business analysis, project management, regulatory compliance, and testing. Uses MS Office suite and standard QA/testing artifacts; requires ability to analyze claims-related data and support SOP governance.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-level business analyst/consultant with 2+ years of experience in business analysis, project management, and regulatory/process improvement, comfortable working in healthcare/payer environments, with ability to conduct UAT and create documentation. Strong client engagement and MS Office proficiency are essential.
