About this role
This role is an Associate GIS Analyst position supporting gas & electric asset management by maintaining accurate GIS data and related auxiliary systems. The analyst performs as-built mapping, reconciles data, supports network connectivity, prepares maps/reports/charts, trains staff, and assists with emergency and storm-related efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform as-built mapping and maintenance of electric, gas, and land GIS facility data
- Reconcile GIS data between GIS and related auxiliary systems
- Maintain network connectivity of gas and electric distribution systems
- Prepare maps, reports and charts using software tools
- Maintain GIS gas & electric standards and procedures and deliver training to staff and field personnel
