About this role
Hilton seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design and deliver data solutions across the enterprise data ecosystem. You will collaborate with business, product, technology, and analytics teams to build scalable data pipelines, ensure data quality and performance, and support data-driven decision making in a hospitality context.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand project requirements to support new and existing systems within the data ecosystem
- Organize necessary work, identify required data, and comprehend design and solution architectures
- Analyze enterprise data and existing technical landscape to understand implications for new project architectures and analytical reporting
- Gain hands-on experience and alignment on information and artifacts with data and business teams in Martech
- Monitor projects during implementation phase and communicate status, risks, and issues to senior leadership
Technical Overview
Hands-on data quality, ETL, and data maintenance with Talend, AWS Glue, and Lambda; experience with Amazon Redshift and Snowflake; cloud and hybrid environments; strong communication.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior data engineer with 5+ years in technology, strong hands-on experience in ETL and cloud data platforms (Talend, AWS Glue/Lambda, Redshift, Snowflake), and ability to work in a hybrid cloud environment across hospitality data stack.
