About this role

GenAI Software Engineer at AIG will join a new Generative AI team to design, develop, and scale full-stack software solutions for insurance applications, leveraging modern frontend and backend technologies and enterprise integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product owners and IT leads to translate requirements into software solutions
  • Develop UI using Angular
  • Write high-quality, reusable code
  • Create robust unit tests
  • Build and integrate services using MuleSoft

Technical Overview

Stack includes Java or Python, Spring Boot microservices, Angular frontend, MuleSoft integration, and cloud-native tools (Terraform, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud, AWS Lambda, API Gateway). Emphasis on CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and secure, scalable architecture.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-to-senior level full stack engineer with strong Java or Python skills, experience with Spring Boot, Angular, and enterprise integrations (MuleSoft). They should be comfortable in a cloud-native, CI/CD-enabled environment and have hands-on experience with cloud providers (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
