About this role
This role is responsible for leading Sonoco’s sales efforts and driving revenue growth across multiple channels. You will manage the sales pipeline, lead a high-performance sales team, and build client relationships while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales goals through effective coaching, training, and performance management
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies targeting B2B (business-to-business) and B2C (business-to-consumer) markets, including high-end sales and retail channels
- Manage the entire sales pipeline, from prospecting through closing, ensuring consistent lead generation via outbound calls, cold calling, and networking
- Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, monitor sales metrics, and support data-driven decision-making
- Conduct negotiations with clients and partners to secure favorable deals while maintaining strong relationships built on trust and transparency
