About this role
Manage multiple group insurance accounts for the Premier Account Management team, focusing on retention, profitable growth, and customer satisfaction. Coordinate enrollment, sales, and support services, resolve service inquiries, and participate in special projects while providing coaching and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically manage the assigned book of business and develop customer-specific business plans
- Collaborate with sales and relationship teams to identify growth opportunities and coordinate enrollment
- Build relationships and work with internal partners to implement new business and resolve service inquiries
- Participate in special projects and act as a resource/backup for other team members
- Provide coaching and update reporting source systems
Technical Overview
Primarily customer/account management within group insurance, including consultative business planning and coordinated enrollment and support delivery. Uses reporting source systems for ongoing reporting and maintains account relationship health across a 100–500 lives portfolio.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level account manager with 3+ years of experience servicing multiple small to medium financial/insurance accounts and driving retention and profitable growth. They have an active Life and Health Insurance license (or can obtain it within 30 days) and can manage complex customer relationships through consultative planning, enrollment/sales coordination, and service issue resolution while traveling at least 30%.
