About this role

Pasco County is seeking a GIS Analyst - IT to develop mapping products and manage spatial data on the County GIS, supporting multiple agencies and the public.

Key Responsibilities

Supports development and maintenance of a sustainable geospatial model
Develops data collection/management/analysis methodologies
Generates project maps and presentations
Researches public records and maps
Produces hard copy maps, reports, and analysis

Technical Overview

Role requires ArcGIS Desktop (Advanced/Standard), ArcModel Builder, SQL, Javascript, and strong geospatial data management skills to build, analyze, and maintain geospatial datasets and maps.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-level GIS Analyst with 2+ years GIS experience (or 4+ years with an Associate) who can develop sustainable geospatial models, create thematic datasets, and produce maps for County departments.
